Urgent Service notes
- DNC Connect only supports the actual NX versions who are under maintenance from Siemens.
- For customers who want to update on the Teamcenter 11.3 version or higher: From TC 11.3 and on, a new license verification will be done upon the creation of manufacturing objects like MEProcess, MEOP, MEWorkArea and their sub-types (including custom types). This check will be done on server side per Teamcenter policy and to ensure license verification. It will use two new feature keys: 1) mfg_planning_lite for verifying MEProcess, MEOP and their sub-types 2) mfg_plant_author for verifying MEWorkArea and its sub-types.
This new license check will be done in addition to other license verification that exists today. If you don’t find them in your Teamcenter 11.3 or higher license key please get in contact with Siemens Digital Industries Software.

Enhancements
- Update Eclipse Jersey to version 2.47.
- ActiveDNC: The description field in the upload and import dialog can now be marked as required or hidden. Configuration in UI_UploadFile_Dialog.conf or UI_ImportFile_Dialog.conf required.
- ActiveDNC: The search arguments for hidden input fields can now be specified individually in SFCQuery_conf.xml. SFC then combines them using the separator configured for the current user (WSOM_find_list_separator). Instead of one line with multiple values (e.g., ?MENCMachining*;MEOP*?), these can now be configured in individual lines.
- ActiveDNC: The tool list for a program group has been expanded. The parts list can now also be displayed there, and the tool can be opened in an additional view. In addition, if a tool magazine with the current tool inventory is available for the workplace itemrev, only missing tools can be displayed.
- SFCAdmin: The DNCType configuration is now available via ‘Global Settings -> Types -> DNC (Datasets)’. The workplace related configuration is accessable via ‘Plant structure -> workplace’.
- SFCAdmin: The local configuration file ‘ShopFloorConnectwebappsSOAPWrapperWEB-INFconfsoaStatus_Names.properties’ is now replaced by a configuration mask in the SFCAdmin web app (?Global settings -> Types -> Status?).
Bugfixes/Changes
- Part interface: A bug has been fixed that always generated an error file with the error ?Index 2 out of bounds for length 2? even though the data had been imported. However, Teamcenter form data was not written.
- Failover V2: Fixed an issue which causes the availablitity check to deny access to a cached workpackage even if the workplace is in the BOM of the workpackage.
- A problem has been fixed whereby an error that occurred when inserting an object into the parts list of another object was not returned to the calling client. This can occur, for example, if Teamcenter preferences ?TCAllowedChildTypes_…? are configured.
Announcements
- With version 2510 of SFC, the minimum required Java version will generally be changed to version 17. This will mainly affect installations under Linux, as the Java runtime is installed there via the package manager. The Java runtime must then be updated before updating SFC.
MI-Server
Enhancements
