FIT Release 2022.4 – October 2022

The new FIT Release 2022.4 is now available and released for Microsoft Windows platform. Please look below for the enhancements and changes of the different modules.

The release is available for all customers with maintenance agreement and access to our Customer Information Center (CIC) for download (please create a release activity).

All customers who have no access to our CIC platform and want to download the software over CIC have to require access over the following link. Please send an email to service@aplusb-solutions.com if you want the release on a data medium.

The FIT modules as well as all additional modules are released for the Microsoft operating system Windows 2012, 2016 and 2019 Server as well Windows 8 and 10. We support also the databases Microsoft SQL Server 2016, 2017, 2019 and Oracle 12c.

 

FIT-MI-Server

Enhancements

  • For uploading a directory as a ZIP archive, there is now a configuration option to pack only the content of the directory into the ZIP file instead of the directory.
  • Upgrade internal Tomcat to version 9.0.65

Bugfixes/Changes

  • WuT COMServer: When the COM server is restarted by a longer power interruption, the MI could not re-establish the connection. The message “The COM server is currently used by “0.0.0.0” ” was repeatedly output in the log file. This problem has been fixed.

 

FIT-HI-Server

Enhancements

  • In the default configuration of the HTTPS connector of FIT-HI-Server only files of up to about 2 MB in size could be saved when directly editing within the FIT-HI WebMenu. Otherwise an error message occured. The shipped default configuration has been adjusted so that the FIT-Tomcat accepts files of any size.
  • The logging framework log4j is no longer used.

 

FIT-HI-WebMenu

Enhancements

  • In Systeminfo, the info for AnalyseTool is now also displayed if AnalyseTool is installed on the extra FITAnalyseToolTomcat.
  • The display of NC programs in the WebMenu can now also be called from external systems.
  • The slf4j and logback libraries have been updated.

  • There is now a new modul SoapService-Protocol for viewing protocol data.
  • There is now a new modul SapService-Protocol for viewing protocol data.
  • In the personnel data module, the necessary permission for setting a person’s workplace permissions has been changed: Access to this function is now bound to the ‘Advanced settings’ permission.

 

FIT-HI-DNC

Enhancements

  • The log messages are now written via slf4j/logback instead of log4j.

 

FIT-HI-MES

Enhancements

  • The order information displayed in the dialog for order-related function keys is now configurable.
  • When writing values via OPC UA, input values received from function key dialogs or other signals can now also be used.
  • A button for manually refreshing the order view can now also be displayed in Assembly operation mode.
  • The slf4j and logback libraries have been updated.

  • In operation mode Assembly, there is now a configurable action for order completion in which the target quantity is taken over as the actual quantity.
  • With automatic order request, time data records with start and end times transmitted via OPC UA can now also be booked in FIT-HI-MES.
  • Error catalogs for recording alarm messages via OPC-UA can now be imported from XML files or plain text files.

Bugfixes/Changes

  • AutoTime no longer worked with Java 11. This problem has been resolved. Also, AutoTime now uses slf4j/logback instead of log4j for log messages.
  • The status “Order target quantity reached” has not been set so far for automatic quantity posting via MDA, e.g. via OPC UA. This has been corrected.

Service Manager

Enhancements:

  • There is a new service for the ABService Manager to import the tool data to FIT.
