A+B Solutions and in.hub Make Production Data More Accessible Faster

New Partnership Makes It Easier for Manufacturing Companies to Transition to Connected Production

Schwäbisch Gmünd, Chemnitz, August 2026. Modern production machines generate large amounts of valuable data. In many companies, however, a significant portion of this data remains unused. Different machines, control systems, and interfaces make it difficult to consolidate this information and put it to good use in production.

A+B Solutions and in.hub GmbH aim to change this together. The two companies are combining their expertise so that manufacturing companies can collect machine data with manageable effort and put it to use in their production processes.

in.hub’s Industrial IoT solutions capture the necessary information directly from machines and systems. A+B Solutions then handles the integration into the existing manufacturing and IT infrastructure. This transforms raw machine data into actionable insights, enabling companies to better evaluate their production and drive targeted improvements.

From the Shop Floor to Corporate IT
In medium-sized manufacturing companies in particular, machine fleets have often grown over many years. Different manufacturers and generations of control systems make it difficult to collect data in a uniform manner. As a result, information remains locked within individual machines or systems.

This is where our collaboration comes in. in.hub’s solutions capture relevant machine and process information directly at the production line and make it available for further use. The siineos® software platform supports the integration and processing of production data. A+B Solutions ensures that this information can be incorporated into existing production processes and enterprise systems.

When machine data is transferred directly to the required systems, manual data entry is eliminated. This saves time and reduces the risk of data entry errors.

A+B brings extensive experience in machine integration as well as in MDE, MES, DNC, and PLM. Another key focus is the integration of manufacturing and enterprise systems.

“In many companies, the data has long been available. The key is to transform it into reliable information for production with manageable effort. Together with in.hub, we can connect machines more quickly and make the collected data available where our customers actually need it,” explains Gerhard Strauss, Managing Director of A+B Solutions GmbH.

Quick Benefits with Manageable Effort
Companies can adopt this collaborative approach in a phased manner. Standardized hardware for data collection simplifies technical integration. Experience gained from numerous integration projects ensures that the information collected can be quickly incorporated into existing processes.

This allows managers to see more quickly what is actually happening on the production floor and where there is potential for improvement. Machine data, for example, can help better assess capacity utilization or identify the causes of downtime.

At the same time, a data foundation is created for advanced applications. These include MES and production controlling, as well as predictive maintenance and AI-based analyses.

“With siineos®, we provide direct access to information from production. A+B brings the expertise to integrate this data into existing processes and systems. This creates a seamless path for our customers from the machine to actionable insights,” says Oliver Salo, Partner Manager at in.hub.

Implementing Digitalization in a Practical Way
The partnership is aimed in particular at companies that wish to further digitize their manufacturing operations while building on their existing infrastructure.

Machines can be integrated step by step, and specific use cases can be implemented in a targeted manner. This makes the benefits visible early on. Additional areas can then be incorporated according to the company’s requirements.

For A+B Solutions, the collaboration with in.hub complements its existing portfolio of manufacturing IT and machine integration solutions. Customers thus receive support ranging from data collection on the shop floor to the utilization of that data within their production processes.

Hands-On Workshop on November 12 at digiZ in Schwäbisch Gmünd
A+B Solutions and in.hub will demonstrate how such machine integration works in practice on November 12 at digiZ | Digitalization Center East Württemberg in Schwäbisch Gmünd.

At the on-site Smart Factory, companies can gain first-hand experience with modern technologies for connected manufacturing. Using concrete examples, the partners will demonstrate how data can be extracted from existing machines and meaningfully integrated into digital production processes.

A+B Solutions is an official network partner of digiZ and contributes its expertise in the digitalization of manufacturing processes. The joint hands-on workshop offers managers from manufacturing companies the opportunity to learn about potential applications for their own machinery and to discuss specific questions with the experts.
