NC Programs and Manufacturing Information under Control
FIT-WebDNC centrally provides up-to-date NC programs and related manufacturing information. Employees in production planning, manufacturing, and assembly access approved data via a web browser, ensuring everyone works with the same set of information.
In addition to NC programs, setup sheets, clamping diagrams, tool lists, drawings, and 3D models can be made available. Optimized programs can be retrieved from the production floor in a controlled manner and saved for later comparison. As a result, valuable manufacturing knowledge remains permanently available within the company.
What FIT-WebDNC does for your Manufacturing Operations
-
Centrally manage NC programs and manufacturing information
-
Connect various machines and NC controls
-
Provide up-to-date data in the manufacturing environment via a browser
-
Feed back optimized NC programs in a controlled manner
-
Automatically import CAM data
-
Support paperless manufacturing processes
Connecting different NC Controllers
FIT-WebDNC supports various combinations of machines, controllers, and interfaces. This makes the solution suitable even for established machine fleets with different generations of controllers.
The connection is established depending on the existing infrastructure:
- directly via the network
- serially via Com-Server++
- protocol-based, for example via Mazatrol or RPC, as well as Siemens NCP Services, Fanuc Focas 2, and OPC UA
NC programs can be retrieved via FIT-HI-DNC or directly from the control system (DirectWebDNC).
Centrally Manage Manufacturing Information
FIT-WebDNC draws on the central FIT part data management system. There, NC programs and the associated manufacturing information are managed together and made available to authorized users.
Changes made during production can be traced back in a controlled manner. Optimized NC programs can be saved as an upload data set and subsequently used, for example, for program comparisons.
This reduces the risk of working with outdated or unapproved programs.
Automated Import of CAM Data
External CAM systems can be integrated via existing standard interfaces. Data and information generated in those systems can be automatically imported into FIT.
This reduces the need for manual data transfers and eliminates the need to maintain production information multiple times.
Browser-based and flexible
All you need to access FIT-WebDNC is a browser. The user interface is independent of the operating system and can be used on standard PCs, industrial PCs, panel PCs, tablets, or smartphones.
A local installation at each workstation is not required. This simplifies deployment and lays a solid foundation for paperless processes in manufacturing.
