Shop Floor Connect for Teamcenter-Release 2015.3 - August 2015

The release is available for all customers with maintenance agreement and access to our Customer Information Center (CIC) for download (please create a release activity). All customers who have no access to our CIC platform are strongly recommended to request one. With the CIC access you can everytime check online the actual status of your problem request.

This Shop Floor Connect Release 2015.3 supports all Teamcenter UA versions from 8.3 up to the actual version Teamcenter 10.1.x.

This Release is the last one who supports the Teamcenter Versions 2007.x!

Enhancements

  • New configuration property AVA.CheckItemTypes. For each item type name configured in this property the availability check is executed (is the current workplace allowed to access the ItemRevision).
  • New API function SFC_Admin_UpdatePlantElement_20153 to modify a plant item object.
  • New API function SFC_Admin_DeletePlantElement_20153 to delete or remove a plant item object.
  • New API function SFC_Config_GetDownloadDNCTypes_20153.

Bug fixes/changes

  • Fixed an issue running SFC on Linux platform where the following error occurred: Could not open FCCJavaClientProxy Library. LD_LIBRARY_PATH to ${FMS_HOME}/lib was missing in the SFC_Server start script.
  • Fixed an issue where active Failover mode was not correctly displayed in the SFC Webclient.
  • The length of the ItemID value in a partinterface command file was previously limited to 32 characters. The limit is now increased to 128 characters.
  • SOAPRequestItemHead_SearchName supports now query names containing one or more dots at their end. (Latest Item Revision...)
  • API: The attribute BOM of SFCWorkpackage_20152 was reported of type Object[ ] instead SFCWorkpackage_20152 [ ] in the wsdl.
  • API: The attribute SFCDataset of SFCWorkpackage_... was reported of type Object [ ] instead SFCDataset_20141[ ] in the wsdl.

Enhancements

  1. SFC_Config_GetSearchItems_20141 now returns default search configuration if no SFCWorkplace is assigned to the SessionID.
  2. New configuration properties BOM.MEWorkAreas.ValidWorkplaceItemTypes and BOM.MEWorkAreas.ValidWorkgroupItemTypes.
  3. New API function SFC_RequestSFCWorkpackage_20152.
  4. Add attributes MRLToolID, MRLToolRev, MRLToolUID to SFCToolActivityData_20141.
  5. New API function SFC_Admin_CreatePlantElement_20152

Bugfixes/Changes

  1. Fixed an issue that SFC did not followed the download status configuration of a special DNC type.
  2. Fixed an issue where API function SFC_CreateNewItem_20142 returns UID of the created Item object instead the UID of the created Revision object.

Enhancements

  1. Login credentials of Teamcenter user 'DNC' are now configurable in 'SFCAdmin'-Webapp. It's now necessary to configure user credentials after installation of SFC before the initial connection to Teamcenter.
  2. New management page to change password of the local SFCAdmin user in 'SFCAdmin' webapp.
  3. Update internal Tomcat to version 7.0.57. This includes a fix for the SSLv3 issue, also known as POODLE attack.
  4. New log file 'log/SFCServerService_log.txt'. This file is associated with the windows service SFC_ServerService.
  5. New management page to change password of the DNC user in 'SFCAdmin' webapp.
  6. The file transfer configuration between SFC and the MachineToolClients is now configurable in the SFCAdmin web application.
  7. The configuration entries in the file SOAPWrapper.properties are removed.

Bugfixes/Changes

  1. DNC-Setup is now created with a new Menu entry in the SFCAdmin webapp. The installation procedure has changed. See new SFC documentation.
  2. Admin-HI: When the MCIS configuration could not be saved to Teamcenter (due to ACL restrictions for example) the error message was only written into the log file and not shown in the web client.
  3. Configuration option 'OnlyMIServerSupport' removed.

Enhancements

  1. MCIS-Mode: It's now possible to send multiple datasets of a ItemRevision as one NCPackage.
  2. New configuration option MCIS.tooldataptp.NamedReferencePattern to define file name pattern of the tooldata.ptp.
  3. New configuration options MCIS.tooldataptp.UseOnlyTCUserName and MCIS.tooldataptp.LimitUserNamesTo32 to configure user name values send to MMx.
