FIT Release 2015.4 - October 2015

The new FIT Release 2015.4 is now available and released for Microsoft Windows platform. Please look below for the enhancements and changes of the different modules.

The release is available for all customers with maintenance agreement and access to our Customer Information Center (CIC) for download (please create a release activity).

All customers who have no access to our CIC platform and want to download the software over CIC have to require access over the following link. The FIT modules as well as all additional modules are released for the Microsoft operating system Windows 2012 Server (also Version R2) as well Windows 7 and 8. We support also the databases Microsoft SQL Server 2012, 2014 and Oracle 12c.
 
We also want to inform you about the Microsoft support end (14.07.15) of Microsoft Windows Server 2003.


FIT-HI-Server

Enhancements

  • FIT-HI-Server now uses Java Version 8 update 60.


FIT-HI-DNC

Bugfixes/Changes

  • With the touch mode it was not possible to upload files due to an error if multiple selectable records had been found. This point has been resolved.


FIT-HI-MES

Bugfixes/Changes

  • With the touch mode it was not possible to upload files due to an error if multiple selectable records had been found. This point has been resolved.
  • With the settings for time splitting the global setting wasn't used by default. This issue has been fixed.


FIT-HI-Webmenu

Bugfixes/Changes

  • During installation the configuration files for modules protocol and production data were not created. On several systems this aborted the installation routine. This point have been resolved.
  • With new installations the example machine pictures for InfoCenter shop floor layouts were not installed correctly. This caused further problems during installation and when creating InfoCenter shop floor layouts. These points have been resolved.
  • When editing InfoCenter shop floor layouts with the latest versions of Internet Explorer (11.0.22) the positions of the workplaces were not saved correctly. This point has been resolved.


FIT-HI-Analyse

Bugfixes/Changes

  • During installation on FIT systems with an Oracle database the setup paused until a command window had been closed manually. This point has been resolved.

FIT-HI-DNC

Bugfixes/Changes

  1. It is now possible when viewing part records to display fields of the corresponding workplace record, too.
  2. FIT-HI-DNC now ships with an example template for setting default values for the upload phase which fills components of the filename into fields of the upload form.
  3. FIT-HI-DNC now ships with an example configuration to adjust the font size used for viewing ASCII files (e. g. NC programs).


FIT-HI-MES

Enhancements

  1. It is now possible to konfigure Touch-Mode for each workplace in FIT-HI MES-Administration.
  2. The timeout for updating the view in operation mode assembly is now also reset when the order selection is changed or the page is scrolled. Until now the timeout had been restarted only when the mouse was moved, which is problematic when operating via touch screen.
  3. If in the global settings parameters 'registration requires presence' is set, the notification of a staff (or support staff) is only possible when logged on PZE Terminal (presence status in the persons masterdata).
  4. In the order message mode can now be customized to the job availability that the orders of the group can be reported.
  5. It is now possible when starting an operation to close preceding operations matching defined conditions.


FIT-HI-Webmenu

Enhancements

  1. In the masks of module persons now the persons' status and business trip permission are displayed, too.
  2. It is now possible to assign different mask sets to different users. Thus the visibility or changeability of particular fields can be restricted to particular users.

Bugfixes/Changes

  1. When creating several new part records as copies of existing records the form fields "upload revision" and "upload allowed" had been preselected. Thus it was not possible to copy part records without changing these fields. This problem has been resolved.
  2. With activated protocol and many concurrent actions database errors occurred occassionally. This problem has been resolved.

FIT-HI-MES

Enhancements

  1. It is now also possible to start other DNC systems, e. g. SFC, besides FIT-HI-DNC from FIT-HI-MES and pass key fields of the order to find the corresponding part directly.
  2. In FIT-HI-MES Administration now in the list of workplaces the last selected / edited workplace is scrolled into view.
  3. In operation mode assembly requesting orders and pressing keys is generally disabled as long as no user is logged on.
  4. In operation mode assembly now orders and persons are automatically preselected if only 1 option is available.
  5. The size of the chart in view "Accumulated Times" is now configurable.
  6. The persons registered in the main view of the Assembly-Mode are displayed in blue and larger.
  7. For requested orders in operation mode manufacturing now keys for webservice calls within the order row can be configured.
  8. The button for viewing the accumulated times is now also displayed at workplaces of operation mode assembly.
  9. Until now a DNC button showed up in the order row in operation mode manufacturing automatically if an MI had been configured for this workplace. It is now also possible to hide this DNC button.
  10. FIT-HI-MES now displays the current time.
  11. With many requested orders in operation mode assembly if the user had scrolled down, the view always lept back to the top of the page on refresh. To resolve this problem the barcode field no longer gets the focus automatically after the user has scrolled down.
  12. In operation mode assembly it is now possible to configure that when requesting an order via barcode processing is started automatically.

Bugfixes/Changes

  1. With certain actions the costcenter had not been recorded in time data. This problem has been resolved.
  2. Errors occurred when trying to start more than 30 time data records with the same start time, same action and same user. This problem has been resolved. Moreover, the performance of creating and updating time data records has been improved.
  3. When viewing the reported actions for the last processed orders an error occurred, if no person was logged on to any workplace. This problem has been resolved.
  4. If a signal configuration contains action numbers that do not exist in the current actionsc.dat these action numbers are highlighted in red in FIT-HI-MES Administration.


FIT-HI-Webmenu

Enhancements

  1. In InfoCenter now new shop floor layouts can be created and existing layouts can be edited. Pictures for layouts and workplaces can be imported directly via the web application.
  2. InfoCenter shop floor layouts are now displayed in separate windows with no head and menu area. Thus they can make more use of the available space and several layouts can be displayed simultaneously and moved to different screens.

Bugfixes/Changes

  1. When updating time data without a specified shiftmodel in recent versions of FIT-HI WebMenu a NullPointerException occurred. This problem has been resolved.
  2. In the detail view in InfoCenter no default image was displayed if the machine had not been configured into any layout. This problem has been resolved.
  3. In time data actionnumbers in the search result were aligned right. This has been changed to left alignment.

Enhancements

  1. The selection dialog for files to upload is now always displayed on top of the window. In previous versions the dialog could easily disappear in the background.


FIT-HI-MES

Enhancements

  1. The table settings can be displayed now next to the diagram.
  2. Now several different reject issues can be reported in one transaction.

Bugfixes/Changes

  1. When deleting a signal links to switch this signal on or off by other signals where not deleted as well. This problem has been resolved.

This abandoned configuration data could potentially disable other links. Both problems have been resolved.

FIT-HI-Webmenu

Bugfixes/Changes

  1. In the administration the user's description wasn't filled in the form when editing a user. Thus it had to be reentered manually so that it didn't get lost on saving. This problem has been resolved.
